My innovative ballet shoes are patent pending and have won many awards, including:
- Best Presenter / Selected by Aaron Patzer, founder of Mint.com, at Duke Start-up Challenge 2010
- Semi-Finalist / Intel Science Talent Search 2008
- 1st place poster / Southern New England Jr Science & Humanities Symposium (JSHS) 2007 – Boston University
- 1st place / Massachusetts State Science Fair 2006 – MIT
In addition, I am the first author of a peer-reviewed article on ballet shoe design featured on the cover of Ergonomics in Design, a journal published by the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society. I wrote the article with Dr. Devorah Klein from IDEO when I was 16.
